Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

36 months of Pediatric Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

ADN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:

Pediatric OR Circulating - Required

Schedule:

6:50 am - 5:20 pm or 8:50 am - 7:20 pm, depending on department needs

Call is a minimum of 1 weekday per week and every 4th weekend (Friday end of shift-Monday 0700).

Response Time: 30 minutes

Weekends: Rotate every other weekend as needed

Holidays: As needed; can include in house coverage on any shift; or 24 hour beeper call.

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Float Requirements: To Surgicenter if needed

Orientation: 2 weeks of M-F 0650-1520

Required:

Minimum of 3 years OR experience

Peds Experience

This is a circulating position.

ENT, ortho, urology, gen. surg, craniofacial/plastics, neuro, eyes. We do cardiac but they wouldn’t be expected to do cardiac

Dress Code: Scrubs - Any color, just not all black

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
