Requirements

Experience

9 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

NIHSS (Required)

Additional Details:

Required skills and experience: Experience with neuro/stroke patients

Preferred skills and experience: Neuroscience ICU experience.

Shift & schedule requirements: Every other weekend. Floating requirements: Within the hospital. Ability to care for 4-5 patients if pulled to neuroscience stepdown unit.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
