Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

***must have recent experience/competency: vv/va ecmo, iabp (intra aortic balloon pumps), ttm/arctic sun, impella, crrt, pa catheter guided therapy

***2+ years recent dedicated cardiac icu/ccu/cvicu experience is required; must have worked in a dedicated cvicu/cicu - must also have strong experience on all advanced therapy modalities.

Must be able to read and interpret ekg rhythm strips; manage and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips; common types of patients/diagnosis: post op cabg, heart and lung transplant, cardiogenic shock, advanced hf management, cardiac arrhythmia, lysis, post ir/pci procedures, & tevar.

Weekend requirement- every other weekend;

Holidays- 1 major winter holiday (thanksgiving, christmas, new year’s). A holiday includes the day before, day of, and day after the holidays listed. 1 major 1 minor

Floating: float to other ifmc icus including stepdown/progressive care/imc/tele units. first to float

Scrubs- navy blue pants and solid navy-blue tops or solid white (jackets solid navy blue or solid white)
