Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 2 years

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

D/N Rotation

The MedSurg Staffing Resource Team (SRT) will float between all MedSurg units as needed. Travelers will be working ED and PACU borders. In addition, Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage may be required.

Float units include – 1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West, ED and PACU

Previous Float experience highly preferred.

Chest tubes
Tubes
Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
Trachs/Laryngectomies
Telemetry
Complex wounds
Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws
