Requirements

Experience

9 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Pyxis is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license

PALS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: PICU, NICU experience / Experienced in other women’s health areas (labor and delivery, ob/gyn)

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and On call(if any) Rotating weekends. May work mixed schedule of days/nights/weekends to fill scheduling holes as needed

Floating Requirements: May float to NICU (take low acuity) or Nursery May float to Ob/gyn if qualified

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
