Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 10 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Respiratory, Non-invasive airway management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: BLS, ACLS - AHA, RQI, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage: Every other if needed.

Floating Requirements: To units of equal or lesser acuity.
