Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend

Every Other Holiday

Could float within skillset

58 births per month

Patient Ratio: Pit, mag, or Insulin Drips - 1/1, Couplet Care - 1/3

Patient Types: Mix - Mainly obstetric/neonates, hypertension, GDM, try not to deliver anyone less than 36 weeks

Must be able to read and interpret fetal strips

Must be able to read strips - will float to Medsurg & ER as needed

RNs required to titrate drips - Pitocin, Insulin, Magnesium

RNs required to read their own strips

No self scheduling

Block scheduling is allowed

Floating Requirements: Yes - Medsurg, ER. wherever in the hospital the nurse is needed

Perm staff is usually first to float

Dress Code: Scrubs - Maroon; scrubs are provided and RN will change once on the unit into our surgical scrubs

Orientation: 3 shifts

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past 12 months

RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
