Additional Details:
The position is one of providing direct patient care to women in labor, through delivery, postpartum, and to provide direct care to the newborn. Assuring all aspects of maternal childcare.
Administer care during labor, post-delivery, and postpartum including infant care and providing patient education
Required:
Education: RN graduate
4 years experience in Obstetrics care - Preferred
Skills:
Knowledge of or interest in learning labor, delivery, postpartum and nursing care essentials.
Principles of sterile technique and infection control.
Skilled in technical aspects of mother/infant care.
Able to perform effectively in highly stressful situations.
Able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people and have good communication skills.
Shift Information:
7:00pm - 7:00 am
May rotate shifts and areas as staffing and census requires
