Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.

No block scheduling.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. 2 attempts

DAY 1 PASS FAIL SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.

Weekend Requirement: At least 1 weekend per month.

Holidays: Work into rotation.

Scrub Color: Navy

Tele: Phillips. RN to interpret EKG.

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 85% Oncology patients / 15% Tele medsurg. Surgical, medical, Oncology patients.
