Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

36 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Schedule: Wed/Thu/Fri

On Call Required.

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Call 24 hours/rotated on the team.

Orientation Hours: 12

RTO: can request no more than 5 non-consecutive days for approval. During holiday season (Nov-Jan), only one holiday RTO can be requested for approval. All RTO is approved by management prior to clinician signing a contract. Once confirmed, will be listed in Work Order Confirmation

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 17-30 cases

Required: current heart surgery experience and unless they are working in a busy, complex, high acuity system, they will need at least 3+ years of experience.
