Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have 3 years of Ortho/Neuro OR experience
• Candidates must be proficient in either Ortho/Neuro OR General/Robotics
• Experience with Open bellies, GYN, Davinci Xi for general, Endo

Types of Patients on Unit:

• General/Robotics - Peds-Geriatrics, cysto, Davinci XI for General/GYN*/Urology, ION robotic cases, Open Bellies, endo/ GI experience- scope experience (ok with needing a resher) ION Robot, Davinci XI, Stryker towers
• Ortho neuro total joints(hips, knees, shoulders), sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar cases, micro discs, cranis, and no awake large neuro cases

Unit Details:

• OR - General/Robotics & Ortho/Neuro
• Suites: 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite

Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 0645-1515; 0900-1730
• Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week 1515-0645
• Weekend/Call Requirements: based on staffing but approximately every 3-4 Fri 1515-Mon 0645
• Holiday/Call Requirements: Must be willing to work holidays- rotate with perm staff.
• What is call response time? 15 minutes, 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call

Floating Requirements: MUST be willing to float to cross train to other specialty cases if needed. MUST be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter or helping hands (and will get trained that day).
