Travel Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Skills/Experience: Work Settings, Ambulatory/Outpatient, Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, Pre-Post, Pre/Post Op Care of the Patient, Discharge Instructions, Medication reconciliation, Obtain Operative/Procedural Consent, Pre-op Assessment, Pre-op Education, Pre-Op Medications, Pre/Post Endoscopy procedures, Pre/Post Operative procedures, Review History and Physical, Professional Topics and Skills, Interpretation and communication of lab values, Isolation Precautions, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol, Pain assessment & management.

Required Credentials: Community Hospital Experience

• Drivers License/State ID
• BLS ACLS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation

Shift & Scheduling:

• Is on-call required Yes typically 2 days a week plus some weekends on rotation
• Are weekends required Yes Call Shift rotation Friday 0630- 0630 Monday
