Additional Details:
A minimum of 12 months acute care experience in the United States is required. Unit experience must include 12 continuous months.
Ultrasonographer/Radiology (R).
Shift: Tues/Wed/Thurs. on call 2 nights/wk and 3 nights every 4th week. On call nights could include any night of the week.
Required: ARDMS registered in general RDMS and vascular (RVT), Must have OB exp.
The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
