Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via candidates email. Please ensure an up to date email is provided at time of submission.

Required Skill Set: Competencies with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring the ICU. High acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Competencies include efficient with vents, a -lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring, temporary pacemakers, vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations.

Must have 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience.
