Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 10 months of Nurse Management experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Previous Employment Requirements: Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months in order to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Transports to MRI and CT, a lines, venipuncture, evd placement, post op craniotomy care, post TNK documentation, a lines, intubation, extubating, high flow nasal cannula, EKGs, central line placement , IV placement, post stroke care including mobilization with Sara combilizer.

Types of Patients on Unit: Neurointensive care including stroke, Thrombectomy, EVS, Neurosurgical cases, EVDS.

Unit/Facility Details: • Nurse Manager needed in Neuro ICU (NCCU) • Patient Ratio: 1:2 in ICU, 1:3 in PCU.

Shift & Scheduling: day/night, 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a. Every third weekend required. Scheduling is completed by the nurse manager, self scheduling allowed by staff.

Floating Requirements: Will float to ICUs, PCU and MS.
