May request one holiday off per assignment and are expected to work every other holiday.

Weekend Hours: As required by facility.

Call Requirements: As required by facility.

Float Requirements: As required by facility.

Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Type of Patients on Unit: Inpatient Acute and Inpatient Rehab unit (evals only).

Patient Ratios: There will be 1 other inpatient PT, 2.5 OT’s, 2 PTA’s, 1 COTA, and 1SLP in acute and add 2 PTA and 2 COTA to the total for inpatient Rehab

Case Load: In acute care, 10-11 patients per day. For therapists, it is usually evaluations only but can be occasional treatments

Must Have Skills/Experience: Perform Initial Assessment/Plan of Care for each patient upon receiving physicians order according to departmental policies and procedures and standards of care.

Administer appropriate modalities, exercise regimens, and/or treatment procedures according to departmental policies and procedures and standards of care. Maintain progress notes and departmental records on each patient according to departmental policies regarding documentation and charges.

Type of Patients on Unit: Inpatient Acute and Inpatient Rehab unit (evals only). All are in the same building. Occasionally might be asked to go to critical access hospital in Tish to evaluate patients but drive time and mileage counts for our co-workers.
