Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience.

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Required Skills/Experience: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years Emergency Department preferred

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: ESRD, Substance Abuse Disorders, Psychological Disorders, COPD, CHF, Abdominal Pain, Chest Pain

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient population - ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, Psychiatric

Equipment Used on Unit: Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV.

Unit/Facility Details: • Number of Beds: 48 with flex space • Patient Ratios: 4:1 Main ED and 6:1 Fast Track

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: Minimum of two weekends a schedule // No Call requirements.
