Requirements

Experience

9 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

Experience with Meditech is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

CVOR - OR/SURGERY

Required Skills/Experience:

• General surgery, orthopedic and neuro surgery experience both RN and Tech

• Basic general OR knowledge of more than one year

• Must have at least two years of CVOR experience, to include: All adult open heart cases, open and endovascular cases. This includes open and endovascular Triple A surgery, and must be willing to work with the Cath lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement). This includes RN and Tech.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Trauma experience

• Vascular surgery exp, RN and Tech. Cases such as fistula creations, and endarterectomy surgery

Shift & Scheduling: Call Required (rotating call/weekends). Weekends: possibly, based on need
