Required Skills/Experience: Will you accept a first-time traveler: RN: Yes, if greater than 2 years’ experience. Skills required: If traveler has experience outside of this specialty – please include this is your offer details - PCU RN qualified to float to ICU.

Required Credentials: Education: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing.

Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking

Special Requests: Approval of time off: Up to 7 days. Must extend contract if unable to work a full week to accommodate a 13-week contract. No RTO during Sturgis Bike Rally (first 3 weeks every August).

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation – Every other or 50% weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekends are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Travelers are not scheduled On Call hours, but may be placed On Call related to Low Census if hours are over guaranteed weekly hours OR traveler requests to be low censused On Call. Holiday Expectations: Every other holiday minimum during contracted timeframe.

Floating Requirements: Adult Inpatient Units - Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, ICU (depending on experience), Observation. Could be floated within scope of practice and below. Will float in rotation with other travelers.
