Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Physical Therapy experience within the past 12 months.

DPT completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 year current Hospital acute care, IP Rehab or SNF experience

• Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Inpatient care to Orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic and general med/surg populations. Schedule determined by surgical volume, weekends and holiday rotation.

Equipment Used on Unit: Treatments beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes.

Technology Used on Unit: Meditech

Unit/Facility Details:

• 42-Bed IP Rehab Unit

• 472 bed acute care medical/surgical facility and healthcare complex specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics and bariatrics as well as Women’s Services.

• Patient Ratios: Varies on volume.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No on-call requirements.

• Weekends: One weekend/month, will get weekdays off to balance out.

• Must be able to work varied Day shift hours.
