Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: OR Circulator Experience - Must be able to circulate and scrub in the OR

Must be able to independently read & interpret telemetry strips

Primary newborn RN experience for transition from delivery

Preferred Skills / Experience: Experience in high-risk obstetrics

Charge experience

Required Credentials: Must be able to pass telemetry test Day 1 w/ 85%+.

Preferred Credentials: Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation Course

Special Requests: Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
