Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience within the past 3 years.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Moderate sedation and PACU experience highly.

Required Credentials: Graduation from accredited Nursing Program. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.

Unit/Facility Details: This position is for a Circulating RN who will be responsible for the delivery of care in the Peri-operative setting through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and older adults. The Circulating RN coordinates with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, pre and post-operative nurses, and surgical tech while maintaining standards of professional nursing. May be asked to train other nurses. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 20.

Shift & Scheduling: M-F 8am to 5pm, or 3 12 hour shifts 7am - 7:30pm, or 7:00pm to 7:30am, and on call night shifts.
