Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Required skills and experience: 2+ years recent acute care experience. Must have surgical stepdown experience. IMCU/Stepdown experience, auto med dispensing and more than 1 previous travel assignment.

Preferred skills and experience: Tertiary facility experience.

Required credentials: BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.

Unit and facility details: Unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU and includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients.
