Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Occupational Therapy experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

OT-Inpatient Therapy

Shift & Scheduling: Willing to work on the weekends. Flexible to changing schedules.

Weekends required.

No call.

Floating Requirements: Adult Acute Care and/or Rehab Unit

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in Acute Care and in ARU.

Patient ratios: Target of 8 patients per day in Acute Care and 4 patients in ARU/Rehab Unit

Type of equipment: DMEs, exercise equipment

Unit Details: HIPAA, TJC, hospital safety guidelines and policies

Therapy care policies and protocols per APTA/AOTA guidelines

Typical procedures performed on units: Therapy evaluation and treatment.

Patient screening for appropriate need for therapy services.

Performs appropriate patient discharge recommendations.
