Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Cardiac Tele RN - Required

Start Date: 9/15 or 9/22

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Rotation: Required

On-call Requirements: None

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

Required Skills / Experience: Post-op cardiac procedures experience

TR Band care and interventions - Must have experience with TR Band's straight from procedure

Acute chest pain

Cardiac drips, Heparin drips - Experience with Cardiac Drips (Olathe mainly does, Heparin some Butamax, Lasix and Cardizem) and has experience with the Tikosyn/Sotalol iniation process

Ability to measure and interpret a telemetry rhythm

Preferred Skills / Experience: 3 - 5 years of Tele experience

Unit Details: Our Cardiac Telemetry unit is made of 59 beds, over 3 units on one floor

Orientation: Will start on Monday at NEO at main campus
