Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Pediatric critical care exp. Pre/post op with CHD. Experience in critical care for patient with congenital heart disease. Congenital Heart Disease/Repair. Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric Step Down, PICU.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Can consider first time travelers if they have experience in similar CICUs

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: PICU, CVPICU experience; knowledge of CHD.

Types of Patients on Unit: CHD

Unit/Facility Details: Acute Care Facility. Magnet, NICU Level III/IV, Trauma Level I. Total Staffed Beds: 485. Parking Cost: Day passes are offered for off-site parking at discounted rate and provide shuttle service. Onsite parking for evenings is also at discounted rate. Night shift, parking is free.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend REQ: Yes- 3 of 6 weekends. 50/50 Day/Night rotation. 7a/7p, or permanent nights.

Floating Requirements: MSICU, MICU, NICU, ACCU.
