Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Abdominal pain, asthma, burns, epiglottitis, head injury, hyperglycemia, identifying and reporting abuse, infections, mental/behavioral health conditions, near drowning, poison ingestion, respiratory infections, seizures, sickle cell crisis, skin disorders, spinal cord injury, urinary tract infections, acute psychosis, drug overdose, managing violent behavior, psychiatric hold, suicidal patient, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, chest tube insertion/management, CPAP/BiPAP, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), intubation, ventilated patients, continuous IV paralytics, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, CVA (cerebrovascular accident), neuro-trauma, traumatic brain injury, general emergency department-combined adult/pedi, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG, isolation precautions, triage, manage/apply splints, ortho trauma.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Procedural sedation administration/monitoring, Level I trauma center, STEMI certified facility, stroke certified facility, gunshot wounds, traumatic amputation.

Unit/Facility Details: Could care for COVID patients.

Special Requests: RTO: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks.

Travel pair policy: Pairs are okay, but the client cannot guarantee matched schedules.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as needed

Weekend Coverage: Every Other, Every Third

Floating Requirements: Floating as needed (will float to ETCU)
