Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred from any number of months.
Experience with Altera Digital Health a Harris Company is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Gastrointestinal, Bowel obstruction, Colostomy care and management, Feeding tube care and management, Respiratory, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Genitourinary/Renal, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Mood disorders, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Plastics, Surgical drains, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Travel experience. Community Hospital Experience. Skills: Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, MS/Tele, Short Stay- 23 hour Stay Unit, Telemetry, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Unit/Facility Details: May consider candidates who are at least 50 miles from facility on a case by case basis

Shift & Scheduling: Must Start on 12/15. Weekend Coverage: Every Other. Call Required: Yes.
