Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Step Down Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills and Experience: 2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience. Traveler will be placed on a unit where the greatest need is whether it is a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on the traveler's skills; will accept a M/S or Stepdown RN - same credentialing for both skills

Required Credentials: Ascension EKG Exam. Driver's License/State ID

Shift & Scheduling Requirements: EOW; EOH. All jobs with a 12 hour schedule have the option of a 36 or 48 hour work week.

Floating Requirements: Will need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Special Request Requirements: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.
