Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
36 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

***This position is the pre and post procedure area for the Cardiac Cath Lab and IR. Experience working with recovering cardiac patients is required.

**Start times vary from 0600 to 1100. There is a call requirement of up to 3 shifts in a two week period which could include weekend call. Weekend call is Saturday from 0600 to Sunday at 0600 and Sunday from 0609 to Monday at 0600.

Requirement: PACU or recovering of Heart Cath experience. Minimum of three years, but five is preferred.

Weekend Requirement: Every fifth or sixth weekend on call.

Call Requirement: Three shifts in a two week period

Floating Requirement: Will float between like units.

Block schedule: Per manager discretion

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Scrubs are provided.

RTO must be included at time of the submission.

Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler.

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting that they are booked. This can include Charge RNs / Leads.

***Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
