Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

All jobs with a 12 hour schedule have the option of a 36 or 48 hour work week.

Previous Employment Requirements: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience in an acute care setting

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in Ortho, Vascular, Robot, Plastics

Scrub experience

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: General, GYN, Plastics, Ortho, Bariatrics

Types of Patients on Unit: Pediatrics, adults, geriatric populations

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling.

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 call per/6 week schedule. 2 weekdays/2 independent weekend days/nights, per 6 weeks.
