Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• One year of Behavioral Health nursing.

• De-escalation experience, experience with physical restraints (chemical restraints are not used), medication passes, comfortability to run groups, documentation.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Pediatric BH Experience

• May have the opportunity to act as Charge.

Required Credentials:

• MOAB is obtained on site (part of orientation).

• License should not expire within 45 days following start date.

Unit/Facility Details:

• With free parking.

• Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

• During the winter: Heavy snow conditions expected.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation: Every Other; Sat / Sun

• No call requirement.

• Holiday Expectations: Expected to work holidays in rotation.

• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.

Floating Requirements: Between all units – Adults and Peds.
