Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 10 months of Pediatric Oncology Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: MUST have 2 years of experience of PEDs experience (IMC/PICU).

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Diagnosis Include Solid tumors; Leukemia/hematologic malignancies; Blood/bone marrow transplant; Infusion therapy -biotherapy/chemotherapy; Oncology acute care; Cancer clinical trials.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patients age range: Oncology pediatric patients newborn up to 25 years

Unit/Facility Details: Unit does care for general medical-surgical patients if other units are full. EPIC Ambulatory Nurse and Beacon Nurse. 20 bed Hematology, Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant. All IMC beds

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend: Every other weekend. Holidays: As needed by the unit (every other). Call: No call for Travelers
