Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
6 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Guaranteed Hours 36

Self scheduling allowed as requests. shifts balanced with scheduler.

4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays

Floating Requirements? All other applicable areas

Nurse Patient Ratios 1:3 or 1:4

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CABG, MVR, STEMI, HF, Fundoplication, VATS Decordication, vascular repair

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with post-op Cardiovascular Surgery Patients is highly recommended, but not required

Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone

RN should be able to interpret common rhythms.

Must pass Dysrhythmia Exam Prior to Acceptance, 80% passing score - 48 hours to complete.

All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided? Navy blue- scrubs not provided
