Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Neuro Intermediate Care Unit - Required

Shift & Scheduling: Day / Night Rotating Shift

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

May float to the neuro ICU floor from neuro IMCU

Orientation: Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday)

Patient Population: Arterial lines, EVDs, lumbar drains, post op day zero neuro cases, acute thrombectomies, admin of TPA, some vasoactive infusions Experience with EVDs, Lumbar drains, arterial lines required

Unit Details: 18 intermediate beds, 18 general neuroscience beds in the Rosenberg building

Others: Parking can cost up to $43/day in some cases. Please reach out for details

Special Requirements: All RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission.

Previous Employment Requirement: Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted. Must be separated from facility for six months to be considered.
