Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Preferred Skills/Experience: One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.

Types of Patients on Unit: Types of patients/cases in this unit: Very high acuity unit. Contractors will see a heavy load of strokes, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health and sepsis cases. They will also see some trauma but this is not trauma designated unit.

Special Requests: We attempt to do blocked scheduling but it is not a guarantee

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend
