Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Nursery experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Skills Required: Special Care Nursery/Level II, Start & maintain peripheral IV, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Car Seat Education, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, IV Antibiotics, Metabolic Screen, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Newborn Assessment, Phototherapy, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Newborn hypoglycemia, Large for gestational age, Low birth weight infants, Isolation Precautions, Vaccine Administration

Experience required: Delivery Room experience required, Previous Charge and Preceptor Nurse Experience Required

Will float to postpartum- for baby care assignments.

No on call shifts; flexible weekend schedule

Scrubs provided.

Weekend Coverage: Every Other
