Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience within the past 2 years.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 24 months.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: IMC RN’s must have Vent experience. All RN’s must have experience with tracheostomy’s and ready/interpreting telemetry strips

Required Credentials: MMC mandatory onboarding education

Special Requests: Travel Pairs are not accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: Call Requirements: None

Floating Requirements: IMC RN’s may float to another IMC level of care unit within MMC. IMC RN’s will float to med/surg as needed. Med/surg RN’s may float to another med/surg unit with similar level of care. Floating is based on unit need and skill as well as the needs of nursing units.
