Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

May request one holiday off per assignment and are expected to work every other holiday.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Rotating / every other weekend; no guaranteed blocks unless it includes Sat/Sun

Call Requirements: None

Float Requirements: will float within CTICU/ICU and any progressive unit as needed

Scrub Color: Black

• Patient Ratios: 2 pts: 1 RN / max 3:1

Holidays: Rotating

• Type of Patients on Unit: Fresh from OR CABG, Neuro ventrics, lumbar drains, prolonged vent or high O2 demands, Sepsis, TNK/Stroke patients, CRRT

Auto offer guidelines

Contract Duration – 13 (up to 26 weeks upon request)

Weekly Guaranteed Hours – 36 or 48 per week at the request of the candidate

Requested time off – up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved (anything more would be subject to approval by the leader prior to confirming the candidate and time would be asked to be made up at the end of the assignment)

Weekends – standard expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday will be required unless otherwise approved by the leader prior to confirmation)

Holidays – candidates should be expected to work at least one of the major summer (Memorial, July 4th or Labor Day) or winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Day)
