12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Step Down Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Diploma completion required

6S Telemetry Stepdown

Stepdown Float: floating to CVSU, Cardiopulmonary, Heart and Vascular Step Down, Comp Med Step down, and Cardiology Tele Step down

Every other weekend.

Experience with cardiac drips (amiodarone, Lasix, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, milrinone, etc.) must know how to interpret heart rhythms.

Preferred: experience with VAD, care of post open heart, cath, vascular surgery, and cardiac patients
