Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit experience within the past 12 months.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

APHON (Required)

PALS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a teaching facility and recent travel experience preferred.

Parking Paid parking options available on site. MetroRail transportation available if preferred.

No artificial/gel/powder nails are allowed per TCH's policy.

If you were previously perm staff at TCH, you must wait 6 months before applying for a traveler position (but this timeline may vary slightly depending on the unit.)

Preferred Skills/Experience: HemOnc experience preferred. Strong preference to have recent experience at a large facility.
