Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.: Ultrasound Guided IV Placement

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Reduction/Splint

· Chest Tube placement

· Accessing Port-a-Cath

· Blood product administration

· Intubation

Weekends and On call(if any)

· 4 weekend shift’s per schedule. Day shift weekend requirements are Saturday & Sunday day shift. Night shift weekend requirements are Friday & Saturday night.
