Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Every other weekend

• Shift: Nightshift Weekend (Friday-Sunday)

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Call Requirements: On-call occasionally due to low census

• Float Requirements: Yes, Med Surg when ICU is closed

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Geriatric and Adult

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Vent management, drip titrations and management, RSI

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Med surg experience as well preferred

• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Resp failure, DKA, Septic shock, cardiac dysrhythmias

• Scrub Color: Any

Additional Notes: Would be only ICU nurse in house if 2 patients or less
