Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.
Diploma completion required
Trauma Level 5 experience is required from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong ED experience, strong customer service, ventilator class (BiPAP) will provide during on boarding, knowledge of medication administration (mix own meds), chest tubes, central lines, strong IV skills

• Will be required to do charge (facility will train if needed)

Required Credentials:

• Traveler Telemetry Competency

• If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Special Requests:

• Block scheduling not guaranteed (will be assigned an existing open FTE position)

• Please expect someone with a 501 (Arkansas) area code or from the facility to reach out to interview you for this position!

Shift & Scheduling:

• Minimum night staffing varies per location, usually 4 RN & 1 LPN, but can be 2 RN & 1 LPN.

• Weekend rotation: try to rotate every other, but not guaranteed. Negotiable

• NOC: Start time is 1500 & 1900

• Holiday Expectations: Negotiable

Floating Requirements:

• Will call traveler if you have to float before shift starts

• Will be assigned a primary OCED, but the expectation when needed is to float to other OCED sites as needed and primary site may change depending on needs.
