Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

No Block Scheduling.

Cardiac Step Down

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Must have skills/experience:

-Stepdown or progressive care experience

-Telemetry experience

-Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix; etc.

Preferred skills/experience:

-Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin).

-Relief charge experience

Floating Area(s): All MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding.

Scrub Color/Attire: All white or all navy blue or white top and navy blue pants.
