Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

May request one holiday off per assignment and are expected to work every other holiday.

Shift and scheduling: Days, 5x8, 8-4:30 or 8:30-5:00 (this may depend on patient load)

Required skills/experience: 2 year Radiation Therapy in a hospital, good communication skills- linac treatment experience: setting up patients/imaging patients; Elekta workflows can be taught on-the-job

Equipment used on unit: Elekta Versas; Varian HDR; Cyberknife; new Radixact getting installed by August 2024

Technology used on unit: Mosiaq and EPIC

Preferred skills/experience: experience with Elekta

Types of patients on the unit: IP and OP
