Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Evening Rotating Nurse (Combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts) D/E rotating Monday to Friday Shift options: 06:30 - 17:00, 6:30 - 19:00 or 10:30 - 20:30 Call & weekends as needed

Preferred Skills/Experience: We prefer RNs rated 3-4 in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics (Da-Vinci). Experience in oncology Teaching Hospital Experience

Required Skills/Experience: Circulate and scrub experience

Previous Employment Requirements: Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

Required Credentials: Cert: ACLS, BLS - Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable
