Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Observation Unit - Required

Required Skills/Experience: Background in observation units, or step-down MS/Tele units.

Ability to read and interpret strips

Required Credentials: Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance

Associate Degree or Certificate

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, CHF, Dehydration, pre -op, Urology and GI, Drips (Drips include, but not limited to: Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro ,Insulin, Heparin)

Unit/Facility Details: Observation Unit / Inpatient

8 bed unit

Shift & Scheduling: Day / Night Variables

On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed.
