Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Step Down Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: At least 2 years of previous Med Surg and PCU experience required.

Unit/Facility Details: Med Surg / Stepdown.

Special Requests: Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving). Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Will be required to float between Medsurg and PCU specialties.
