Requirements

Experience

9 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

24 months of Trauma Level 2 facility is required from any number of months

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit

2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous

Preferred Skills/Experience:

HCA experience preferred.

2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.

Floating Requirements: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
